Short answer? You could call me a hot-blooded writer.
Long answer? I'm a guy who's looking to become a man who makes his living making people laugh and smile through his writing. "Man" in this case being subjective; at 23 years old I'm barely out of college, but we'll see if willpower (and four years chasing after a major in Writing) will get me where I want to be. At the very least, I'm a pretty credible nerd; I've been playing video games since before I could tie my shoes the right way, and I'm a dabbler in the fine arts of comics, anime, and movies. And --
Hey, wait! Where are you going? I'm not done!
I'd like to think that I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to writing. Humor's always a big part of what I do, but I'm also well-versed in fiction as well as non-fiction (creative or otherwise). I've won a few contests in my time -- three, with a fourth hopefully on the way -- and there's something almost whimsical about writing a story featuring swan-punching or motorcycle-powered escapes from undead minotaurs. With any luck, I'll become a writer worthy of my dream and the people who deserve a nice little yarn. But until that day comes, I'm content to writing random articles with no shortage of game references.
So I hope you'll hang around my place for a little while. Who knows? You might learn something. Like the Konami Code. Because you're not a man if you don't know the Konami Code.
